Pictures from Christmas

Peanut and Buttercup were up early.

This is Buttercup saying “Merry Christmas”. Don't ask me why she looks so crabby…maybe she thought she was getting a stocking full of cashew but didn't…?

Peanut tried to kiss my fingertips but couldn't quite reach them. :)

Awesome dinner with Hero Material (it was doubly awesome because I didn't have to cook):

Garlic toast – salty & garlic-y with lots of olive oil:

Pasta w/ crab & tomato cream sauce. It was very delish!

Broiled tai. Very nicely flavored.

Beef with green sauce. Tender and flavorful:

Christmas cake!!!!!!!!!! The frosting was the best. Super light and fresh white cream with strawberry topping. The sponge cake with super moist and soft. Sublime. Yum!

Afterward we watched Avatar in 3D. It was good although some parts were very predictable.

How was your Christmas? :)

Charlotte — You’re welcome! Thanks for stopping by.

Bryn — Thanks! The food is fancy b/c we went to a restaurant. Theer’s no way I’m making something that fancy! Your casseroles sound yum!

Sam — The beef was fabulous. I wish it were bigger.

Thank you re: hamsters. I’m sorry about Roadster. It does hurt to lose a pet… :( So cool about Mojo & Jojo being pearl whites. Shiro was one too. :) What kind of dog do you want to get?

Good Lord! Your food is so fancy!

With my family we have ham and 10 different casseroles and cookies and pies. Not that I’m complaining at all! It was delicious!

I got two hamsters, since Roadster died, and…I miss Roadster. He was a mean old thing, but I still miss him, gah. Your hamsters are so sweet. Mojo and Jojo are both pearl whites, but next time, I think I’ll get a dog. :D

Have a good New Year!! ?????????!!!

    >.> I gotta get back to writing…must make, uh, yesterday’s quota…

Dionne — Thanks! :-) Hamsters say hi to you too!

DD — Thanks. Lights were gorgeous this year. The city usually doesn’t do a good job, but I was very impressed.

Bettie — Thank you! I hope you had a fabulous Christmas too!

    Maili,

Actually Kuro & Shiro are the first pair we got. Shiro died on November 13th, 2009. So we currently have Kuro, Peanut and Buttercup. :-)

Aaaah, that’s why. I had it fixed in mind that your hamsters were named Kuro and something else. I didn’t realise it was Peanut and Buttercup. Heh.
