@Savannah Chase: I think pandas are pretty tricky for many zoos to keep / have for a long time. I watched a news program, and unless I’m not remembering it right, pandas are on some kind of loan or lease program from China. So if there’s a new baby panda, it belongs to China, and many zoos pay some kind of fees to get the pandas from China. And the money is used to help protect and raise / breed pandas in China because there are so few of them.

Oh they are so adorable…We are suppose to be getting a few pandas at the Toronto Zoo soon. they get them every few years.
