So What Am I Up to This April?

I just got done with a very rough draft of Mark Pryce's and Hilary Rosenberg’' (Gavin Lloyd's executive administrative assistant — if I call her a “secretary” Mark's going to get mad lol) story. So while it's marinating, I'm treating myself to two days of taxes (fun!) and another day or two of reading.

(In case you're wondering what I'm planning to read, I downloaded a copy of Alphas After Dark.)

After a careful read-through, Mark & Hilary's story is going to be self-revised, then it's off to my editor. While she's working on the story, I'll be working on Meredith Lloyd's story, where I plan to reveal the whole secret / mystery surrounding her son Eric's paternity, plus pair her up with the super-sexy brother of her best friend. Oh and I'll have Forever in Love (Blaine Davis and Catherine Fairchild's story) proofread and formatted. I'm aiming to have it released on May 12. Don't forget to sign up for my mailing list if you want to get notified when it's available! :)

Several fans have asked me if they'll ever find out who's behind the embezzlement at The Lloyds Development. All that is answered in Forever in Love, I promise. :)

What I’m Working on Right Now

Forever in Love revision
(This is what happens to the dining table at my place every time I'm revising something. I'm currently revising Forever in Love.)

I've been super busy this past week. I suspect that this week's going to be insanely busy as well. Just to let you know what I'm working on (and what you can expect from the Hearts on the Line series):

  • Sweet in Love proofreading and formatting / correction
  • Forever in Love revision (1st round)
  • Look for somebody to read Damian and Victoria's story (they're from Redemption in Love) and let me know if I should republish this or hide it forever. (I'm getting my rights back in April.)
  • Make a teaser graphic or two for Sweet in Love, which is going live early March. (I'm hoping for March 2, but I'm not sure yet…)

Anything else I get done is going to make me smile like a happy rubber ducky. :)

What are you hoping to accomplish this week?

December 2013 Update

Sorry, it's been so long since I let you know what I've been up to. I know the last “monthly” update was August.

So this is going to be sort of a year-end review plus my plans for the rest of the year and early 2014.

2013 has been the Year of Never-Ending Construction Projects. I'll be so happy when I don't have to wake up to the noise of people drilling into concrete walls. But the good thing is that my health has been generally good, especially compared to last year when both Hero Material and I were sick for something like nine months.

So that means I've been more productive this year. I wrote 3 books (2 full-length novels and 1 novella) and just finished drafting another novel. They're all in the same series, which is going to be released early next year along with the relaunch of Carnal Secrets. I decided that the title and the cover just don't work — too many people seem to think that because there's “carnal” in the title the book is erotic or something. Hence the change.

So here's the series information —

Series Name: Hearts on the Line

First Book: Vengeful in Love (previously Carnal Secrets; Natalie Hall & Alex Damon; hot billionaire boss w/ a secret agenda romance) — to be relaunched in mid- to late December in print and e.

Second Book: Reunited in Love (Kerri Wilson & Ethan Lloyd; reunion, forced close proximity romance) — early January (print & e)

Third Book: Redemption in Love (Amandine Monroe Lloyd & Gavin Lloyd, Ethan's younger brother; marriage in trouble) — mid- to late February (print & e)

Fourth Book: Sweet in Love (Brooke de Lorenzo & Pete Monroe; falling for your best friend's younger brother) — mid- to late March (print & e)

Fifth Book: Forever in Love (Catherine Fairchild Lloyd & Blaine Davis; a fallen gold-digger socialite and a billionaire's bastard bartender son) — mid- to late April or early May (print & e)

In addition to the above titles, I'm really hoping to release three more books in 2014, all in the contemporary romance genre.

I promise not to waste your time — I only use it to send new release info and discount/sales information. :-)

Thanks, and may you all have a great, fulfilling holiday season with your loved ones.
